Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup vegan butter (I used Becel vegan butter)

  • 1 bag of Dandies' vegan marshmallows

  • 4 1/2 cup gluten-free rice crispy cereal

  • Splash of vanilla extract (approximately 1/2 tsp)

  • 2 tbsp Halloween sprinkles *are your sprinkles vegan?*

  • Orange food dye (optional)

  • Pumpkin cookie cutters (optional)

Directions

  1. Prep a 9x13 pan with aluminum foil and spray lightly with oil.

  2. Add your butter into a large pot and cook on medium heat until melted.

  3. Add in your marshmallows to the butter and stir occasionally until all the marshmallows are melted.

  4. Optional- now, add in your orange food dye and stir until the color is evenly distributed.

  5. Remove from heat, and add in your vanilla extract, and rice crispy' s. Stir until all combined.

  6. Now, transfer the mix to your baking pan. Spray your hands lightly with oil, and use your hands to evenly push down the rice crispy mix into the pan.

  7. Once even, add your sprinkles to the top of the crispy mix and gently press in with your hands.

  8. Let it sit at room temperature for 30 minutes. Once that is done, carefully remove them from the pan, and cut them into squares with a knife.

  9. Keep these in a sealed container for up to 3 days.
