Vegan/Gluten-Free Finds at Dollarma

A compiled list of Vegan + Gluten-free finds at Dollarama near Kelowna BC, Canada.

Between the worldwide pandemic and rising inflation, it's safe to say that most people are tightening up their wallets, and rightfully so! Now, more than ever, everyone is on the lookout for the best deals they can find, myself included!

The other day, I stopped by my local Dollarama to grab some items I needed for the house. While I was there, I took a look through the isles, and noticed all of the new food items they were carrying and among them, were some great vegan and gluten-free options! It's not often I find things I can eat when I'm out, especially at a store like Dollarama. I thought to myself, 'if I'm excited, others might be too!''.

Below I've compiled of list of vegan AND gluten-free items you can find at Dollarama. Whether you're on a tighter budget, out-and-about and need a snack, or you're sneaking snacks into the movie theatre (we've all been there), this list will help you cut down on time looking through each of the items!

I will also mention that this post is not sponsored in anyway, I'm just happy to see bigger companies carrying items that cater to more people!

Please keep in mind that every store varies on which items they carry.

SNACKS + SWEETS

Chicago Mix Popcorn

Words cannot describe how beyond thrilled I was to find this. Chicago mix was my go-to snack before I went vegan. If you're wondering, yes... it is just as tasty as the 'original'.

Caramel Popcorn

Same brand, same level of deliciousness.

White Cheddar Quinoa Puffs

I haven't tried these yet, but they looked so tasty I couldn't not put them up here!

Tostitos Tortilla Chips

Honestly the BEST for nachos.

Que Pasa Tortilla Chips

Another fantastic find!

Lays Stax

For the pringle lovers out there.

Popcorn Twists

Popcorn, with a twist. Warning, these are insanely addictive.

Good To Go Bars

I was stoked to see some healthier granola bars available! These would be especially great to grab if I were travelling somewhere and didn't have a lot of options.

Dried Fruits & Nuts Galore

They had so many different kinds of dried fruits and nuts that I couldn't take a picture of them all. This section is a must if you want to stock up on some snacks for hiking or road trips.

Belgian Dark Chocolate

I'll be honest, this wasn't my favorite chocolate ever, but hey when you're in a chocolate pinch, this will definitely do.

Note: this item does say may contain: dairy + gluten. This means that it was processed in the same facility as other dairy and gluten-items. This is completely up to your preference if you choose to eat it or not.

Jacquot Dark Chocolate

Another chocolate find.

Note: this item does say may contain: dairy + gluten. This means that it was processed in the same facility as other dairy and gluten-items. This is completely up to your preference if you choose to eat it or not.

Skittles

Skittles. Need I say more?

Nerds Chews

Classic taste of nerds with a chewy center. These were a hit in my household!

Candy Rockets

With a gluten-free label on it, these make a great candy treat to the celiacs.

Double Lollies

So many childhood memories flooding back with these. Both peanut-free and gluten-free labels on them are fantastic!

Fun Dip

While I miss the traditional 3 flavor option, these are still awesome!

GROCERY

Basmati Rice

If you're in need of a quick side of rice, these will do the trick.

Silk Almond Milk

A great alternative milk at an affordable price.

Canned Goods

This may not be revolutionary, but it was still cool to see some of my favorite canned veggies available!

Canned Goods Part 2

Another couple options!

GoGo Squeez

I'm not a parent, so I don't know how great these snacks are. However, it is nice to have some options for the little ones!

Fruit Purees

Whether your a few years old or twenty, I'm sure these taste great!

Apple Sauce

Fantastic for baking and perfect for quick snacks.

Canned Fruit

Fruit salad and canned peaches. I used to love taking these to school.

Quinoa

Quinoa was a surprise for me, but it was great to see and it was a fairly decent price!

Corn Cakes

I haven't tried these yet, but can imagine they'd taste great with just about anything.

Brown Rice Cakes

Put some nut butter and bananas on these in the morning, and they make the perfect on-the-go snack.
